Our story

Welcome to Twin Oaks Farm! We can’t wait to share our fresh air with you, just fifteen miles from downtown Charleston. Our farm has been our respite and renewal since 1965. From its early days when Papa and CeCe raised children and racehorses, to raising timber, hay, and blueberries in the 1990s, Twin Oaks has survived hurricanes, floods, and a host of mishaps which fill the family story vault. One thing remains the same: you cannot find an unspoiled marsh view like ours this close to town. Most recently, we have introduced cut flowers to our crop plan, and they are truly our happy place. We have decided to make our blueberries and flowers available to the public as a seasonal you-pick experience alongside our retail bouquets, floral arrangements, bouquet bars, and workshops. Whether you come to our farm, or our farm comes to you, please know that care is taken to minimize chemical use and provide sanctuary to wildlife, birds and pollinators. We hope you will bring a picnic and linger in our green space as you purchase our flowers and berries, ensuring the farm will sustain itself for generations to come. We also welcome small groups (less than 20) for special events by appointment only. Photographers are welcome to book an appointment for bridal and family portraits. Customers may take as many photos as they like.

“Laura was an absolute pleasure to work with! She perfectly captured my vision for my wedding flowers by asking a few easy questions about color scheme, budget, etc. She did arrangements for tables, hanging jars, a create-your-own flower headband station, the wedding arch, and of course my bouquet, wrist corsage, and my husband’s boutonniere. Her flowers were simply stunning! Everything turned out exactly as I had envisioned, if not better. On top of that, she was the sweetest, easiest person to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone! You will not be disappointed! ”
